Important information for Paperwork Submissions


For Individuals:

  • All paperwork submitted by individuals is forwarded directly to the court
  • If you would like a copy of the Proof of Service (POS), please include a self-addressed envelope (SASE) with your submission.
  • You must attend the scheduled court date, as the judge will issue the next step in the legal process at the time.

For Attorneys:

  • All paperwork submitted by attorneys is sent to the court
  • A copy of the Proof of Service (POS) will be emailed to your office - be sure to include your email address with your documents

Sheriff Sales Information


Our office does not provide information about upcoming Sheriff Sales over the phone or in person. For the most accurate and current listings, please visit:

Out-of-County Service


If you reside outside the county and need someone within our county served:

  • We will return the documents to the person from whom we received them.
  • If you wish them to be sent elsewhere, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE).

    Other Fee Increases

    • Deputy(s) for Special Events: $65 per hour, per deputy
    • Sheriff to Execute and Acknowledge Real Estate Deed of Sale: $25
    • Deputy to Serve or Attempt to Serve "Order of Replevin": $300
    • Deputy to supervise an Eviction: $100 + any and all applicable service fees
    • Deputy to Serve or Attempt to Serve "Order of Body Attachment": $60
    • Deputy to Serve or Attempt to Serve "Warrant": $60
    • Deputy to Serve or Attempt to Serve "Summons or Court Orders": $60

  • Please note: All return fees for non-service will be $5 each, plus mileage.

    When Mailing a Summons

    • Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope
    • We need 2 copies of summons: 1 original and 1 copy of the summons
    • 1 copy of the complaint per defendant

  • If there is more than 1 person to serve at the same address we charge an additional $65 per person.
